We've heard all the feedback about battery life on other products, and we've worked hard to address those concerns with the new Smart+ Halo Lux. Here's how we made it better:
1. We increased the battery capacity.
Unlike other lights that max out around 2000mAh (and some with even falsely labeled capacities), the Halo Lux features a massive 10,400mAh battery. This means you get at least five times the usage time compared to typical products, so you won't be constantly recharging.
2. We make every bit of power more effective.
In the past, motion-sensor lights would activate at the slightest movement, leading to a lot of wasted power. With limited battery life, those false triggers cut usage time significantly. To solve this, we added three different sensors: Motion, Hand, and Door. You can pick the best sensor for your space, reducing unnecessary activations and extending battery life.
The Motion Sensor activates as you approach and turns off when you leave-perfect for hallways or staircases.
The Hand Sensor responds to a wave and stays on until you turn it off with another wave, making it ideal for a bedside light or displays where continuous light is needed.
The Door Sensor turns on when you open a door and off when it closes-great for bathrooms or display cabinets where quick, triggered lighting is most convenient.
3. Extra Features, More Control
By separating the sensor from the light, we freed up space to add features like brightness and color temperature adjustments. Plus, the Hand Sensor now includes a timer function, while the Motion Sensor lets you adjust the sensing mode and duration. These are extra layers of customization that typical lights just don't offer.
Pro Tip: Want continuous light? You can keep it plugged in for 24/7 lighting, just like any regular lamp.
